Christmas 2012

This year has gone by so fast and I cant believe its already Christmas time ! It seems like yesterday we were celebrating Alexa's very first christmas :) and here it is her second christmas and Bryson's first :) Christmas Eve, we did presents with Aunt Sar, Uncle Mike, Nanna, Mommy, Daddy, and Bryson Aunt Sar made a DELICIOUS Shepherds Pie and the night was filled with love and laughter <3 Christmas Day we did presents at home and then went over to Uncle Kenneth's house for Christmas dinner with blakes side of the family ! Alexa had a blast as she played with all the kids, ate good food, and then opened more presents !

When Alexa woke up she had gone to the Christmas Tree and noticed that "santa" had come in the middle of the night to drop off presents, Needless to say she was very excited !

A Visit From Santa !

So this year our neighbors decided to have Santa come to their house for all the neighborhood kids to visit,  and let me just say it was a BLAST !!! Being Bryson's first Christmas we had to get a picture with santa and needless to say he was not bothered at all, but Alexa on the other hand was a tad unsure. The entire time Alexa was more interested in the candy canes that he was handing out and all the kids that were running around playing :)

Our Christmas Crafts :)

Xmas Craft #1

So for each holiday I am trying to incorporate at least a few art crafts.

This month as you can see is December, which means CHRISTMAS !!!!!!

So for our first craft we made a felt Christmas Tree with Avery and Brittany :)

Well Brittany and I made a felt Christmas tree for the girls ( l0l )

 but the idea of it is, is that The girls can decorate their own Xmas tree how ever they want and as much as they want with the felt ornaments that we made :)

 Alexa got right into decorating :)

For our second craft Alexa and I made a Gingerbread lady :)

Unfortunately I couldn't get any pictures, due to the fact that we were covered in icing and candy.....YUMMY :P

Bryson is 1 month old !

1 month update:

Weight: 10lbs

Height: 22in

Wow ! Its crazy to think that a WHOLE month ago today, we welcomed Bryson into the world at 7:47am weighing in at 8lbs 2oz and measuring 19 1/2 inches long ! It seems like just yesterday we were waking up to the alarm going off at 4:30am to go to the hospital.

Some Sibling Love :)

Since being at home Alexa has grown to love her little brother in ways that brings tears to my eyes, She is constantly saying that he is " her baby" !  Every time he starts to cry she is right there by his side telling him " its okay" while giving him kisses on his head <3 Given there are times where she is a little rough around him, but there is definitely more love to over come it :) 

A visit from Grandma Joy and Aunty Ana !

The second week out of the hospital, Blake unfortunately had to go back to work :( but during that time My mom and Ana drove all the way from Stuart, FL to help me :) Given they were only able to stay for a week, but during that week they helped me over come my fear of being a stay at home mom with now two kids :) We enjoyed A LOT of funny moments as well as serious ones to. I am SO GLAD that they were able to come up and not only help me, but to also see them and enjoy good laughs and good meals :P Thank you Mom and Ana !!!!

His first mini bath :)

Since Bryson has been born A LOT has changed ! It takes a tad bit longer to get out of the house, and sleep has become a very lucky thing to get around here ( l0l ) But I wouldnt have it any other way :) Our family is now complete since Bryson's arrival <3 and even though its only been a month, seeing how much he has changed has been such a beautiful sight ! His silly expressions and tiny little coo's are heart warming to see and hear. As well as being able to watch Alexa play with her brother and make sure he is okay everytime he cries and to watch the love she has for her him grow each and every day has also been a blessing to be able to watch :)
