Our Garden !!

In our garden we have tomatoes, Watermelon, and cayenne peppers !!

Today while Alexa was playing, I decided to clean up our garden, Pull all the weeds, arrogate the dirt and nurture our growing veggies, and for the first time Alexa was VERY interested !! She was ALL into watering HER veggies, digging in the dirt, and getting all weeds out :)

About 30 min. into gardening, Alexa became thirsty and took it upon herself to get a drink of water from the hoes not just once but a few times  <3

Happy 4th of July 2012 !!

What a wonderful 4th of July  <3

 We started our day with a neighborhood parade, The girls decorated the barbie jeep in Red, White, And Blue decorations, and it was a BIG hit !!!

Ending our day with some fireworks at Uncle Kenneth :) Had a fun time swimming, ate GREAT food, and had a blast being able to spend this day as a family :) 

Pregnancy Cravings.. Whats that ??

So during this pregnancy, I have been craving some SERIOUS stuff.. haha Which, I'm not use too,  while being pregnant with Alexa I craved Apple Juice ( which, advice from one mom to another.. DONT DRINK WHILE PREGNANT ! ) and frozen strawberries ( YUMMMY ) but this time, its WAY DIFFERENT, This time Ive been craving......

Needless to say, Ive been craving it ALL ! 

but not eating it all at once, surprisingly with this pregnancy I've only gained 14lbs at 5 months instead of like 30 like my last pregnancy hahahah :)

A possible sign of RELIEF !!

Recently, Alexa and I had gone on Vacation to see Grandma Joy and Aunty Ana !! now while being on vacation I did the worst thing possible, which was to let Alexa crawl in bed with me in the middle of the night the whole time we were in Florida :/ So needless to say while we have been home for 2 weeks, Alexa has NOT been wanting to sleep in her room in HER big girl bed.. She has been getting up in the middle of the night more then she did when she was a newborn, and opening her door  screaming my name ( good thing we invested in a baby gate) !  I have slept on her floor, crawled out of her room ( as quiet as possible.. keep in mind I'm 5 months pregnant l0l ) Fell asleep with one arm in her bed while resting my head on her railing, I have even tried putting a stuffed animal on her back to resemble my hand being there... Yea the last couple weeks I have been pretty desperate l0l. But the best thing I have done recently was asking my WONDERFUL Facebook moms and dads for advice, and for the last couple of nights or two I have followed through and let me say it has been SO MUCH easier ! she hasn't gotten up as much, and tonight I put her in her bed, told her I loved her and shut her door all the way and within a few min of whimpering she was out !!

But on the flip side.... :)))

Everything with my pregnancy has been going GREAT ( knock on wood ) Alexa is even saying hi to her brother or sister and kissing my belly with an added a hug at the end :) As well as each and everyday I am feeling more and more movements, kicks, punches, and summersaults which to me is THE BEST PART OF BEING PREGNANT, from here on out ! It brings joy to my heart and brings me back to the core of my well being :) Alexa has even felt a few kicks, and each time she feels one her face lights up and she goes... " WHOA !!! "

but any-who, everything in TheYoung Bungalow is going wonderful and we are becoming more and more excited on welcoming our second blessing to our beautiful family ! as well as watching Alexa continue to change and grow each and every day <3

Words can't begin to describe how we feel and how much we love you ! You are a true blessing to us and to our family ! Even though we bump heads sometimes when it comes to listening we will ALWAYS be there for you , to help guide you through the correct path.. The path of success and happiness ! 5 MONTHS !!

So today June 27, 2012 was another life changing day we as a family experienced together. Today we found out the gender of this BLESSING that we have added to our beautiful family and will soon hold in our arms come November 12, 2012 !

During this Dr. App it brought back SO MANY emotions of when we were in this EXCAT situation with Alexa (Yet again that was a life changing moment we had experienced as a growing family) The second the tech told us what we were having I felt this feeling of a TRUE connection between me and our second bundle of joy. Its truly a feeling that is indescribable, a feeling of ALL the best emotions together.. Like someone had told me I had won the lottery, but BETTER !! Needless to say I gasped, screamed and started bawling my eyes with tears of joy and excitement !

We aren't revealing the gender, until the baby shower ( which is VERY hard ) but we have already come up with a name and we are SO excited to hold this baby and bring it into this world " officially" to meet its sibling :) and to meet us face to face <3

Our road trip to Sugar Hill, GA

Here we are getting ready to make our first road trip with Aunty Ana and Grandma Joy !! From Stuat, FL to Sugar Hill, GA :) We are SO EXCITED and ready to get the 10 hr drive done !!

I saw these in Walmart and having the mind of a pregnant mom, my first thought was " YUMMMY !!!" lets just say... YUCK !! ( l0l )

Wooohoo !!! we made it to GA !!!!!!!!

As we arrive in GA both girls are passed out safe and sound !!

Our trip from FL to GA was a BLAST !! we sang songs, danced, got semi's to honk the horn ! slept and so much more !! Alexa was a trooper the entire time thanks to Aunty Ana ! Cant wait to drive back in July xoxo !!

Making daddy's Fathers Day gift

 For Fathers day this year Alexa decided to make her daddy a stepping stone, with her hand print and her foot print ! Needless to say we had A LOT of fun during the process of making this stone !!

STEP 1: Picking out the stones to decorate with, which Alexa did a GREAT job doing !!

STEP 2: Making the concrete mixture so we can build the stepping stone !

STEP 3: Putting the mixture into the stencil ! 

STEP 4: Making a handprint into the mixture !

STEP 5: Making a footprint into the mixture !

STEP 6: Decorating our stepping stone with jewels !

( Grandma helped us with that )

19 Weeks Pregnant !!!

Wow, I don't know where to start... I can't believe we are ALREADY at 19 weeks pregnant ! It has gone by so fast, I must say, well at least this far it has :) We are definitely becoming more and more excited to meet this little guy or gal !! The baby is becoming big enough for others to feel him/her kick around and as big as I'm getting so early, I'm glad I'm finally having a true baby bump and not just feeling like I look fat ( l0l )

Dear Baby, 

We are still SO very excited to meet you !! We can't wait to introduce you to your big Sister Alexa :) She is a beautiful, smart, happy, crazy, and loving little girl and I know you two will adore each other !!! Hopefully she will teach you all the good things before the bad ( l0l ) Anyway, I love how Im really starting to  feel you move especially at moments when I need it <3 Daddy is also very excited and is loving how he is starting to feel you move as well ! We love you already from the second we heard your heartbeat we fell in love <3 XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO - Mommy & Daddy

How far along are you: 19 Weeks.

Total weight gain: 7 lbs

Maternity clothes: Ehh yes and no.

Stretch marks? Some from last pregnancy, but no new ones 

Sleep: HA ! whats that l0l

Miss anything? Being able to stay up late watching movies with my husband

Movement: There is definitely movement :)

Food cravings: Nothing that lasting more then a week 

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope, I have been very blessed with both pregnancies to not have to deal with that

Gender: Its a surprise !

Labor signs: Not yet, we have a ways to go !

Symptoms: Back hurting, emotional, tired.. the regular

Belly button in or out? Out l0l its never been the same since our daughter

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or moody most of the time: Yes and no

Looking forward to: The ultrasound where my sister in law will find out what we are having.. to then keeping it  a secrete till out baby shower !
